For the next two weeks, I will make daily posts where I’ll spotlight unusual or lesser known dice that I have in my collection that I hope are interesting for everyone to see and learn about. Each day I’ll cover a different theme, I hope you enjoy this series.
D&G Olympic
There’s these three sets of dice I’m lucky enough to have in my collection that were made by D&G in gold, silver and bronze respectively. I’ve seen them called King Cards Pearl in the dice groups, but to my knowledge they were never part of the Pearl line associated with and sold by King Cards. They certainly don’t appear in any of the King Cards catalogues I have.
I reached out to D&G directly a few years ago to inquire about these, and they responded with the following: “These are sets we did years ago with an Olympic theme. They were manufactured in Gold, Silver and Bronze. No longer available apart from the 18mm spot dice that were made to go with them.”
