The Oddball Dice Series #15

For the next two weeks, I will make daily posts where I’ll spotlight unusual or lesser known dice that I have in my collection that I hope are interesting for everyone to see and learn about. Each day I’ll cover a different theme, I hope you enjoy this series.

DoraTaco Periodic Table d6

This also isn’t necessarily an oddball die. It’s a custom d6 that Japanese retailer DoraTaco offered as Periodic Table die. The science nerd that I am, I had to have this one.

There’s another variation of this design listed (but sold out) in the DoraTaco store. They look slightly different and are called Elemental dice.

Polyset versions of these are now also in existence: DoraTaco ran a Kickstarter for a full polyset of them, made by Q-Workshop. The polysets will look slightly more bland in that they are just white dice with black engraving without the grey elements of the original d6 where I believe the writing was printed on rather than engraved. These can be pre-ordered via the Kickstarter page or bought on the DoraTaco website.
